Biography
Joseph Aaron is a contemporary American painter best known for his Impressionistic plein-air paintings of southern and northern Californian landscapes. Throughout his practice, Aaron seeks to capture the unique light of California with bright colors and simplified, broken brushstrokes. Born in 1959 in California, he went on to study with the plein-air painter Ovanes Berberian. His works have been listed in Davenport’s Art Reference & Price Guide as well as the Artists Bluebook, and have been exhibited in galleries in Santa Barbara, Laguna Beach, and the San Diego area. He lives and works in California.
