Philip Slein Gallery was opened in 2003 in downtown St. Louis by co-owners Philip Slein and Tom Bussmann. In 2011 the gallery established a partnership with long-time art dealer Jim Schmidt, who introduced an important group of American abstract artists to the Philip Slein roster of emerging and established artists.
